Youth's Speak Out

Dear Mr. President,

During the past 2 years of your term as the highest executive official of our country, your agenda and vision as far as the government reforms and programs are transparent. I , as a Filipino citizen, highly commend the way you exemplify the essential of transparency – that is to combat and to get rid of corrupt public officials that has a highly affect, not only to the government but on the economy as a whole. Graft and corruption, if we’ve looked in our history, it has always been the inevitable and common part in our political system. It has been said that in that traditional system, you’ve to swallowed it and take it as it is. The Aquino Administration proves that it spares no one, nobody is exempted from doing the right path/direction according to your cliché.
In layman’s term, corruption is just a simple and a conventional system. A Juan de la Cruz cannot simplify and collaborates the effect of that system. It will illustrate this:
It’s an inverted triangle wherein the upper portion represents the majority of the Filipino people, the poor. The lower portion represents the fewer (elite). The upper portion becomes even more poorer while the few (lower portion) becomes even more richer. Why? It’s because of that system.
Mr. President, I highly commend and salute you for achieving even the most impossible mission – through your objective, “Sa tuwid at tamang daan”.
We thank you for your continuous effort and political will that will benefit the majority of the Filipino people.
                God Speed.

                                                                                                                                                                Sincerely yours,
                                                                                                                                                                Stephen Pangilinan
